Press Conference

The Performing Arts Center Committee held a press conference to kick-off the work by Theatre Project Consultants at the Capitol on January 13, 2005.

The Press Conference starts with a preview of the future with a speech by Opening Knight, Ben Gunter.

Florida Secretary of State Glenda Hood shares her enthusiasm for a Performing Arts Center for Capital City. Shakespeare caricature, "Will's Inspiration" by Bill Otersen.

County Chairman Cliff Thaell (left) and Mayor John Marks (right) add their support for the project.

Over 70 interested community members, business leaders and government officials were in attendance.
